Two days of rest and exploration in Rock Hall, and some chores. Good ice cream, good grocery and great Blue Heron restaurant.

Two days of rest and exploration in Rock Hall, and some chores. Good ice cream, good grocery and great Blue Heron restaurant.
The northernmost portion of our journey on the bay–Havre de Grace. Quiet, friendly people, beautiful waterfront. Then across to Rock Hall, and ice cream!
We travel to Annapolis and take a mooring in front of ego alley. A day of touring, lunch and a second ice cream stop is capped off with an incredible sunset.
A rainy day in Solomons for chores and shopping followed by a bike tour of the island and a visit to the Calvert Marine Museum.
St. Mary’s College is an extraordinarily beautiful campus, with strong environmental stewardship. After donuts, we continue on to Solomons Island.
We anchor on the Plankatank R enroute to St. Mary’s R off the Potomac. A few waves and the tides against us were the only negatives; sunsets evened the score.
After a slow Independence Day morning, saying farewell to Judy, we tour Yorktown, but get stranded by Uber. Great dinner and evening fireworks show.
Judy joins the crew at Hampton Safe Harbor Bluewater, and we voyage up the James and York Rivers. A fire on shore near our anchorage adds some excitement.
