Welcome! We’re glad you’re here and we hope you enjoy reading a little of our experiences with and voyages aboard Betty Lou. We share the joys–and sometimes the learning opportunities–we’ve been privileged to experience while buying, maintaining, traveling, and even just living with Betty Lou.

Our first big voyage was in 2021, taking us on a Tortugas Tour in 4 legs, from Port Royal, South Carolina, to Ft. Myers, Florida–by way of the Okeechobee Waterway, then to Key West, the Dry Tortugas and, finally, through the Keys and up the coast back to Port Royal. We originally published posts of this voyage by email and have since uploaded all the posts to this website, with a little editing and more pictures. Betty Lou’s 2022 voyage took us north for a circumnavigation of the Chesapeake Bay starting in June, 2022. Read about this adventure at Chesapeake Chase.
